Part One (2 Hours): Real Life Lessons from 200 LEED Projects: How to Avoid the Common and Uncommon Mistakes

The LEED process can be daunting for professionals working on LEED projects. This presentation focuses on the lessons learned from actual LEED practitioners who work on LEED every day. You will learn tips on how to avoid the common mistakes when documenting a project and gain insight into maximizing your effectiveness when working on a LEED project.

Learning Objectives

Understand how to implement LEED on a project in the most cost effective manner
   2. Learn what areas are special emphasis for GBCI reviewers
   3. Understand how to effectively respond to GBCI comments
   4. Learn what common mistakes are in a LEED submittal and how to avoid them 

Part Two (2 Hours): What Does the Future Hold with LEED V4

LEED V4 will be released in 2013. What is different? A look at the changes from LEED Version3 to the new LEED Version 4. We will look at each credit category to show what you need to know to implement LEED V4 and how it relates to LEED V3. Special attention will be given to the brand new credits and what will be required to effectively implement them on your projects.
